Open Pour FAQs
Is the $50 payment for a group setting?
The $50 payment is per person or per candle.
How long is an Open Pour class?
Open Pours are typically 20mins of instruction and 1.5hr for your candle to cool.
Can I make more than 1 candle?
Of course! The more the merrier!
What ingredients are used in the candles?
All natural soy blend wax, phthalate free + clean fragrance oils and cotton braided wicks. We source the best ingredients so that you can have luxury fragranced candles within your home.
What is the minimum age for a workshop?
Five years old, parental supervision is required for all minors.
What is your LATENESS POLICY?
Guest are required to ARRIVE 15 MIN PRIOR to reservation time.
Participants who arrive late for their reservation will be moved to the next class for that day IF THERE IS SPACE AVAILABLE. In the event that space is not available, guest will not be refunded and spot will be lost. Last classes of the day do not have rescheduling options.
Reservations are not eligible for refund/credit in the event of late arrival.
At least 48-hours prior notice required to reschedule or refund any reservation. Reservations that arrive late or cancel within the 24 hr time frame will not be refunded. As a courtesy, Reminiscent Luxe may elect to reschedule such reservations, but shall do so at its sole discretion. Reservations rescheduled within 48-hours of original reservation date are no longer eligible for a refund.
What is your cancelation policy?
No cancelations or refunds. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please reschedule your reservation within 48hrs. If you are a no show up to your appointment, you lose your slot as well as monies paid. If you go over your allotted time, the card on file will be charged an additional fee.
Can I bring my candle jar back and make another candle?
Yes, we only accept our candle jars, and you can save $10 at our DIY bar when you create another candle!
Private Event FAQs
Is there a fee for private parties?
Yes. There is a $350 rental non-refundable rental deposit.
How many people can I book a private party for?
You can book a private workshop for at minimum 12 guests.
How long can I have the space for if i have a private event?
You can book a private workshop for 2 hours.
How far in advance can I book?
We would recommend at least a week out, our spaces have been filling up fast.
How long will a private workshop last?
The process to make a candle takes 40 minutes, and 1 hour to cool. We recommend to start your party on time, to give your guest enough cooling time to take their candles home.
Does the deposit include candle making for my guest?
No, the deposit is only for the rental space. Guest will pay upon arrival.
Can I make one of the signature scents from Reminiscent Luxe?
No, but we can help you create something similar!
Other FAQs
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes we offer wholesale, if you have a request please send us a email. We also offer private/white label for brands!
What is your return policy?
We do not accept returns, we will replace if a candle arrives damaged (we must be notified within 24 hours of delivery, via email and a picture of damage) However once a candle has been sent to an home we will not be able to accept returns.
How long do your candles burn for?
Our 9oz candles have a burn time of 60 hours, coconut blend candles tend to burn much longer giving you more time to love your candle.
What shipping options are available?
Shipping is based on the amount of candles ordered. Most cases we ship USPS priority, and if you are our minis they will ship first class. First class does not give you the tracking information so please allow 3 to 5 business days. We also ship through UPS.
How will we know if our order shipped?
When an order is shipped you will receive a email with tracking information. If you have not received an email or text, your order has not shipped. We strive to get all orders shipped within 5-7 business days NOT including weekends.
What should I do with my jar when my candle is done?
We advise you to recycle your jar, reuse it around your house to organize, plants or as part of your decor!
What is a candle memory and why is it important?
When you first light your candle please burn for one hour straight to create a candle memory. This will train your candle to burn correctly and evenly without any tunneling. Once a candle has tunneling it can take a few hours to correct and this is something you want to avoid.
